Question 1: What is Sortelle AI and what does it do?

Sortelle AI is your automated assistant that screens leads, replies to messages, and books appointments—saving you time and reducing back-and-forth.

Question 2: Do I need an Android phone to use it?

Yes. You’ll need an Android phone with our Sortelle AI Gateway App installed to send and receive SMS through the system. But you can still view & manage everything through your iPhone via our mobile app

Question 3: Can I still manually reply to messages / leads?

Yes. You can pause the AI anytime and jump in to respond manually—both on desktop and mobile.

Question 4: What happens if my AI replies incorrectly?

You can thumbs-down the reply and send a better one. This helps train the AI to get smarter over time.

How do I pause or resume the AI?

Pause it for a single lead in the chat settings, or go to the AI Agents tab to turn it off or on for all leads.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use secure, encrypted channels and follow best practices to protect your data.

Can I switch to a new phone later?

Yes. You can swap devices—just reinstall the Sortelle Gateway App on your new Android phone and reconnect your SIM.
